Course members receive a certificate.. This can be renewed bi-anually by attending a one-day refresher course. SHADES also offer a backup service whereby carers/service providers can contact SHADES for assistance with individual incidents. Course tutors can also submit feedback on the course outlining any issues/ concerns which may have arisen.
